Wall Street Systems, a national agency-based transportation network, planned to attend the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, in March 2017. As one of the largest trucking shows nationwide, the event attracts more than 70,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors each year.

Chad Remis, regional manager of business development for Wall Street Systems, said he’s managed quite a few trade shows in his career, but this was his first with the company. After reserving exhibitor space, he approached B-Squared to help him prepare.

B-Squared developed pop-up banners, tablecloths and promotional materials for the event — everything Wall Street Systems needed to stand out on the showroom floor. They also created pens, notepads and custom tractor-trailer stress balls for attendees.

Remis worked with B-Squared’s graphic design team to create striking visuals that matched the messaging and tone of his company.

Remis said he didn’t reach the number of new customers he initially hoped for. But he added that most of the show’s visitors were outside of his target industry.

"We got our name out there that’s for sure," said Remis. "But for our industry, this probably wasn’t the best trade show to be at. Our company is more intermodal freight transportation, and this show is more designed for expediting in vans and flat beds. It wasn’t our market, per se, but we still had a good time and mingled with other trucking companies."

Remis said for future trade shows and marketing efforts, he’ll always look to B-Squared for support.

"They’ll always do our stuff for us," he said. "I’ve been with Wall Street Systems for nine years, and for the last six, I’ve done business with B-Squared. I haven’t gone to anybody else for marketing materials, promotional items or apparel."
